Deep 6 Meets with Australian Prime
Minister to Discuss Global Research Collaboration

This fall, our Chief of Staff, Alvin Tam, met with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Minister of Health Greg Hunt to discuss the creation of a global research collaboration and clinical trials network.

Deep 6 AI attended as part of a Texas Medical Center delegation to expand its BioBridge platform with Australia. We are proud to provide the AI-powered data platform which allows BioBridge partners across the globe to join their research efforts and accelerate the discovery of new life-saving treatments.

 Deep 6 Launches Patient Panorama

Created specifically for multi-site research collaboration, CROs, and study sponsors, our Patient Panorama offers a real-time view of aggregate patient population data across numerous sites.

This allows researchers to work together across health systems and helps sponsors with their trial design and site selection, based on real-time aggregated data and effortless site feedback. Starting your next clinical trial just got a lot easier.

See how Deep 6 allows hospitals, research sites, and sponsors leverage real-world evidence in real time — schedule a demo today.

Amazon’s entry into medical NLP highlights the importance  of unstructured clinical data

Amazon announced they will offer Natural Language Processing (NLP) on medical records as a service. In doing so, they join a host of other open source and commercial providers of NLP for medical records, such as MetaMap and cTAKES.

Much of a patient’s relevant health data is stored in unstructured text like physician notes, pathology reports, and audio transcripts. EMR systems that don’t easily allow users to analyze unstructured data are missing out on the majority of the useful information the records contain.

Amazon’s NLP efforts underscore the value and importance of unstructured clinical data and validates our long-held belief that NLP will become a commodity soon.

Deep 6 AI uses NLP to maximize the data sources that feed into its higher-order ML and AI routines, allowing you to effortlessly find patients in minutes, not months. It’s so easy, you won’t even need to reach out your IT department.
